Wednesday Class
at the WI Marple Bridge
Barbara's "Yoga for All classes" are traditional Hatha Yoga based.
The classes start with a gentle warm-up before commencing with Asanas (yoga postures). At the end of each class is a guided relaxation. We also practise some Yin Yoga poses, Restorative yoga as well "Pranayama" (Yogic breathing).
These classes are suitable for beginners as well as for those practicing Yoga before.
Thursday Evening Online
Yin Yoga + Relaxation
In Yin yoga we mainly target the deeper layers in our lower body - the connective tissues in the pelvis, hips, inner legs and lower spine. Most of the poses are done on the floor and are held for a longer time ( 3 to 5 min) and so that there is a gentle stretching of the connective tissues, the ligament, the joints and the bones.
